Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager who is able to plan, manage, lead, and coordinate the production and maintenance functions within a factory in order to achieve the commercial objectives of the unit and the plant by optimizing productivity, quality, customer delivery, and departmental profitability. Also, he will administer the production and maintenance/equipment servicing function in the factory and will be responsible for the performance indicators related to these functions.

Your main tasks:

Ensures the processing of manufactured and assembled components is conducted with maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness while adhering to prescribed design specifications and quality standards.
Leads and manages production and maintenance teams effectively, coordinating maintenance activities to guarantee optimal equipment and machinery performance.
Monitors the implementation of preventive maintenance plans and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
Establishes production objectives and oversees their achievement within set deadlines and budget constraints.
Supervises production flow to maintain operational efficiency and implements measures to enhance the quality of manufactured products.
Identifies and applies continuous improvement initiatives to production processes.
Collaborates with logistics, procurement, and sales departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities.
Tracks production performance and reports outcomes to company management.
Develops and executes strategies to boost productivity and operational efficiency.
Manages the production department budget, ensuring prudent and effective use of financial resources.
Identifies opportunities for innovation and integrates new technologies to optimize production processes.
Ensures compliance with quality standards and production regulations mandated by customers or regulatory bodies.
Coordinates and supervises personnel training and development to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Oversees the enforcement of occupational health and safety policies, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.
Maintains compliance with customer quality standards and directs the development and upkeep of Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality part processing. Manages adherence to standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001, EN9100, ISO 9001, among others.
Participates in planning annual, capital, and strategic budgets by providing data on requirements and capacities, and is accountable for meeting budget goals.
Acts as a liaison with department managers to drive product quality improvements through production process enhancements.
Reviews and approves procurement requests to support manufacturing processes.
Manages, coordinates, and supports the training of personnel in production and maintenance supervisory roles to cultivate leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Coordinates and communicates with factory scheduling to fully understand equipment and tool capacities and limitations, ensuring customer requirements are met.
Leads the development and execution of a proactive continuous improvement program based on the Kaizen philosophy, focusing on optimizing quality, productivity, and profitability. Monitors and oversees the proactive implementation of the TEOA program within production.
Actively engages in programs aimed at enhancing productivity and quality.
Ensures a safe and clean working environment and communicates with support departments to address safety and material condition improvements within the facility.
Guarantees timely completion of all records and maintains accuracy within the SAP system.
Oversees Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) training for subordinate personnel and ensures factory-wide compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
